Hardware

Acer Aspire 3 (A315) comes with a variety of processors, suitable for different types of use. In the more affordable models from this series you can find AMD solutions such as A4-9120, which can be of good use to customers on a budget who do not need high computing power. On Intel’s side, the series comes with Pentium N4200 and 7th generation Core processors.

As far as graphics performance of the Pentium N4200 models is concerned, you are provided with the integrated HD Graphics 505, and in the AMD A4-9120 laptops you get the faster AMD Radeon 520M with 2GB of GDDR5 own memory. Intel Core and Intel Celeron laptops are equipped with Intel HD Graphics 620 and Intel HD Graphics 500 respectively. Intel Core configurations have 4 to 12 GB DDR4 SDRAM and 1 TB HDD, and Celeron – 4GB DDR3 / DDR4 SDRAM with up to 1 TB HDD.

Display and connectivity options

Additionally, the A315 series models are relatively lightweight and have a weight of 2.10 kg and a profile thickness of 22 mm. The display is a 15.6-inch HD (1366 x 768) with a TN matrix, and in some configurations it’s Full HD (1920 x 1080).

As for the  available connectivity options, these devices are equipped with a USB 3.0 (3.1 Gen 1) Type-A port and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports. The specs sheet is complemented by 802.11ac wireless technology, SD card reader, Bluetooth 4.0, and HDMI output.
