ASUS X556 offers simplistic and yet very stylish design. The manufacturer has chosen colors that easily attract one’s attention. On the back we find the iconic concentric circles surrounding the company’s logo. Additionally, the interior design is the same, and the only inscription that is to be observed there is “ASUS”, placed below the screen. Also, the weight of 2.3 kg is relatively low for a 15.6-incher.

ASUS X556 features up to a Full HD  (1920 x 1080) TN matte display which has a diagonal of 15.6″. Furthermore, ASUS has implemented the ASUS Splendid Technology which offers color temperature correction for the purpose of richer colors. Additionally, there are four visual modes that are meant to guard your eyesight and facilitate your work.

This model boasts quite comfortable input devices. We are dealing with a full-size one-piece keyboard with key travel of 1.8 mm. ASUS X556 also features a larger touchpad (106 x 74 mm). The engineers from ASUS have implemented the so called ASUS Smart Gesture technology that allows you to quickly manipulate your device via gestures.

The integrated Sonic Master loudspeakers ensure great sound quality. Additionally, a professional codec is used for accurate performance.
