5.5-inch display and Android 7.1 (Nougat) OS
As you can guess from the name, Motorola Moto G5s Plus comes with a bigger display compared to its sibling Moto G5S – here you are presented with a 5.5-inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The image detail is around 401 ppi, while Corning Gorilla Glass 3 again takes care of the screen making sure it is protected from scratches. What’s more, the device has a fully metal body with a nano-coating that makes the smartphone waterproof.
As for the battery, its capacity is the same as the one in Moto G5S – 3000 mAh which should provide you with a relatively long battery life between charges. Additionally, the operating system is Android 7.1 (Nougat) but an upgrade to Android 8.0 (Oreo) is planned.
3 GB RAM and 13 MP main camera
The available mobile processor in Moto G5S Plus is Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 developed by Qualcomm. It features eight Cortex-A53 cores running at clock speeds of up to 2.00GHz. In addition, here the present GPU is Adreno 506. What’s more, you get 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage but if needed, you can use the available microSD slot with support of up to 256GB.
Moving on to the camera specs – the main sensor is dual 13MP and has f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and dual LED flash. You can record 4K (2160p) video at 30fps. The front camera is 8MP and it also features f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.
