日本Microsoft Surface Book 2 (13.5″) and Microsoft Surface Book 2 (15.0″) – specs, features, configurations and prices
This time we would like to present to your attention two new series of the American tech giant Microsoft – we are talking about Microsoft Surface Book 2 (13.5″) and Microsoft Surface Book 2 (15.0″). In today’s article we are going to go through the main features of the two 2-in-1 convertibles.
Starting off with the Microsoft Surface Book 2 (13.5″), it comes with an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8650U CPU paired with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 with 2 GB GDDR5. You also get up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB SSD which is more than enough storage for everything you need – from photos to music and movies. In addition, the device works with Windows 10 operating system whose various features aim to make life a lot simpler.
The display you are presented with is 13.5 inches featuring an IPS panel with 3K (3000 x 2000 p) resolution. As for the dimensions, the device is 23 mm thin and weighs just 1.53 kg (including the keyboard) so it is relatively portable. And finally – the connectivity options include two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a single USB Type-C, SD card reader, as well as audio jack. You also get Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1.

Now let’s move on to Microsoft Surface Book 2 (15.0″). This notebook sports an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8650U CPU under its hood. In addition, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 that comes with 6 GB GDDR5 takes care of the graphics performance. Storage-wise, you get up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1000GB SSD depending on the chosen configuration. The available operating system here, unlike in Microsoft Surface Book 2 (13.5″), is Windows 10 Pro which is targeted mostly at businesses.
Anyway, the display is slightly bigger here – 15 inches, however it also comes with an IPS panel with 3K (3000 x 2000) resolution. Again, the device has a thickness of 23 mm but this time the weight is increased – it is 1.90 kg. And lastly, the connectivity options here are the same – two USB 3.0 Type-A, a single USB Type-C, SD card reader, audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, as well as Bluetooth 4.1.
