The Lenovo Flex 5 (Yoga 520) (14″) won’t put unnecessary strain on your eyes (PWM report)

Although the Lenovo Flex 5‘s screen might be lacking in some key areas like sRGB coverage and maximum brightness, the panel appears to be pretty good for the lower-end configurations of the convertible. Still, there are other similarly priced 14-inch laptops currently on the market with Core i5 and i7 CPUs that offer considerably better image quality.

The Lenovo Flex 5, however, surprised us with absolutely no PWM no matter the brightness level so it should be safe to use for long periods of time in this regard. Anyway, we suggest looking into our Health-Guard profile that reduces the blue light emissions while preserving color accuracy as much as possible. And if the Flex 5 doesn’t quite fit your needs, we also suggest browsing our PWM ranking for other 14-inch PWM-free notebooks.
