The new Acer Chromebook 11 (C771) – specs, features, configurations and prices

Acer has added another member to the Chromebook family – the new Acer Chromebook 11 (C771) which definitely makes school a more enjoyable experience.

The notebook is on the mid-to-high end and offers a late 2015 Intel Celeron processor, 4 GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Although in September Acer added Core i3 and i5 CPUs to the C771 models, the newer Kaby Lake chips that we see in higher-end notebooks are still missing. However, this is not a worrying fact as the available operating system Chrome works fine with minimal specs.

As for the display, it comes with a diagonal of 11.6″ and IPS panel with HD (1366 x 768) resolution. Furthermore, the device tips the scale at just 1.35 kg and has a thickness of 20.8 mm making it very portable. What’s more, the battery lasts up to 12 hours making Acer Chromebook 11 C771 your ideal companion throughout the entire day. But the great things about this device don’t end here – it is also pretty robust. The notebook has gone through drop tests of up to 48 inches and it also features a spill-resistant keyboard.

And finally – the connectivity options you are presented with consist of two 3.0 USB Type-A ports, HDMI output, Security Lock slot, as well as audio jack.
