The new ASUS ROG Zephyrus GU501 gaming series – prices, specs, features and configurations

The leading tech company ASUS has just announced its latest gaming series ASUS ROG Zephyrus GU501 and we are hyped to introduce you to its key features.

You can check its in-depth specs and more information here: http://laptopmedia.com/series/asus-rog-zephyrus-gu501/

Under the hood, this bad boy is powered by the latest 8th gen Intel Core i7-8750H processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB GDDR5) graphics card ensuring outstanding performance. When it comes to memory capacity, the maximum you get is up to 16GB of DDR4-2400 RAM and up to 256GB SSD plus a 1TB HDD for storage.

Moving on, ASUS ROG Zephyrus GU501 boasts a bright and vivid 15.6-inch TN panel featuring a refresh rate of 120Hz and Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The specs sheet is complemented by а 2.50 kg (5.5 lbs) chassis that measures at 17.8 mm in height. Basically, the new Zephyrus GU501 is almost the same notebook as ASUS ROG Zephyrus M GM501 but a more affordable one which of course comes at the expense of some sacrifices such as the graphics card and the screen (for the record, you get a GTX 1070, as well as a 144 Hz IPS panel in GM501).

As usual, we have left the connectivity options for dessert – you get 1x USB 3.1 Type-C port, 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port (Sleep and Charge), 3x USB 3.0 Type-A ports, HDMI, combo audio jack, as well as Security Lock slot.

The starting price of ROG GU501GM will be around $1299 for a configuration with 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD, and its expected to hit the market soon.
