The new business series seem to have no end – what we have in mind is the Lenovo ThinkPad X280 which provides something for every user.

Starting with hardware, the Lenovo ThinkPad X280 can be powered by a variety of processors – from the quad-core Intel Core i5-8250U to Intel Core i7-8550U. The CPUs are backed up by up to 16GB of DDR4-2400 RAM, while the storage options include up to 512GB SSD ensuring fast data transfer speeds. As for the graphics side of things, you are presented with the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 that should be sufficient enough to meet all your daily needs.

When we take a look at the 12.5-inch display options, we see two displays to choose from. You can either opt for a TN panel with HD (1366 x 768) resolution or an IPS one with Full HD (1920 x 1080) res. Furthermore, the new ThinkPad X280 stands out with its portable dimensions of 308 x 210 x 17.4 – 17.8 mm and ultra light weight of just 1.13 kg (2.5 lbs). Lenovo also promises up to 15 hours battery life, however, this may vary according to the usage, settings and other factors.

As for connectivity, ThinkPad X280 offers a decent variety of options. You get 1x USB 3.1 Type-C port, 1x USB 3.0 Type-C port, 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port (Sleep and Charge), 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port, HDMI, microSD card reader, combo audio jack, as well as Security Lock slot.
