The AMD A10-8700P is a mid-range CPU part of the Carrizo APU lineup from 2015. The chip is built using a 28nm process and integrates 4 computing cores and 6 graphics cores or in other words – AMD Radeon R6 iGPU with the impressive shaders count of 384. The GPU also supports HEVC/H.265 decoding.
The performance of the whole SoC strongly depends on the configurable TDP, which can be as low as 12W or as high as 35W. The SoC supports DDR3-2133 memory controller while the CPU runs on 4 cores with 4 threads with operating frequencies between 1.80 GHz and 3.20 GHz.
