AMD A4-6210 is a four core, low-end processor meant for use in small laptops and notebooks. It was released on April 29, 2014 and is part of AMD’s “Puma+” architecture family, based on the “Beema” generation. Its base perating frequency is 1.8GHz.
The chip’s four cores have access to 2MB of second level cache. The AMD Radeon R3 graphics controller is integrated into the package. The latter has 128 shader cores and operates at a base frequency of 600MHz. Power consumption of the whole system on a chip is 15 watts, which makes the A4-6210 a suitable candidate for small portables.
AMD A8-4500M supports DDR3 /L/ 1600 memory, x86_64, AVX, AES and the SSE4.2 instruction set.
