AMD A6-5200 is a 4 core, low mid-range processor announced in Q2 of 2013. It is part of AMD’s “Kabini” architecture family and operates at a base frequency of 2GHz. If a higher frequency is needed, its cores can increase their clock speed thanks to the TurboCore functionality.
The chip is equipped with 256KB of first level cache and 2MB of second level cache. A6-5200 has been developed using a 32nm process, allowing for the integration of the AMD Radeon HD 8400 graphics controller. It operates at a base frequency of 600MHz and supports DirectX 11 applications. Power consumption of the whole chip is 25 watts with a maximum operating temperature of 90C.
AMD A6-5200 supports PCI Express 2.1, DDR3/L 1600 memory, the SSE4a and AES instruction sets.
