AMD A6-6310 is a 4 core, low mid-range processor announced in Q2 of 2014. It is part of AMD’s “Beema” architecture family and operates at a base frequency of 1.8GHz. If a higher frequency is needed, its cores can overclock to 2.4 GHz thanks to the TurboCore functionality.
The chip is equipped with 256KB of first level cache and 2MB of second level cache. A6-6310 has been developed using a 27nm process, allowing for the integration of the AMD Radeon R4 graphics controller. It operates at a base frequency of 800MHz and supports DirectX 11 applications. Power consumption of the whole chip is 15 watts with a maximum operating temperature of 90C.
AMD A6-6310 supports PCI Express 2.1, DDR3/L 1866 memory, the SSE4a and AES instruction sets.
