AMD E1-1200 is a two-core processor. It is meant for integration into motherboards. Released in late Q2 of 2012, it is part of AMD’s “Bobcat” microarchitecture family, based on the “Brazos 2.0” platform. The cores are based on the Zacate architecture and operate at 1.48GHz.
AMD describes the chip as an APU (Accelerated Processing Unit). It was built with a 40nm process and has 128KB of first level cache and 1MB of second level cache. E1-1200 also includes the Radeon HD 7310 graphics controller, which has 80 shader cores and operates at a base frequency of 500MHz. Power consumption for the entire SoC is 18 watts, with a maximum operating temperature of 100C.
E1-1200 supports PCI Express, up to 16GB of DDR3L-1066 memory and SSE4a instructions.
