The two-core AMD E1-2500 processor is part of AMD’s “Kabini” architecture family, based on “Jaguar” technology and belongs to the budget E series. It is designed for use in small laptops and notebooks. It was released on May 23, 2013 and operates at 1.4GHz.
E1-2500 is built with a 28nm construction process and sports 128KB of first level cache and 1MB of second level cache. The integrated Radeon HD 8240 graphics controller is equipped with 128 shader cores, clocking at 400MHz. Power consumption of the SoC is 15 watts, which makes it suitable for use in small notebooks.
E1-2500 and supports DDR3L-1333 memory, x86_64, SSE4.2 instructions, as well as AVX and AES.
