Intel Core i5-3339Y is a mid-range processor, announced on January 01, 2013. It is part of the “Ivy Bridge” generation. It is designed for use in tablets and ultrabooks and operates at a base frequency of 1.5GHz. If a higher frequency is needed, its two cores can overclock, and if they both operate in tandem, they go to 1.8GHz. The frequency goes up to 1.9GHz for only one core in operation.
The chip is equipped with 128KB of first level cache, 512KB of second level cache, and 3MB of third level cache. The Core i5-3339Y has been developed using a 22nm process, allowing for the integration of the Intel HD Graphics 4000 controller.
