Samsung Galaxy J1 got high results on our battery tests

Samsung Galaxy J1 is one of the models we’re currently testing, so you’ll be able to see its detailed review soon. In the meantime, we’re going to share with you the first battery tests results. The battery has a capacity of 1850 mAh, which doesn’t seem like much, but it should be enough to handle the small 4.3-inch TFT screen and the dual-core Cortex-A7 processor. The latter is the reason our expectations were high.

So far we’ve run our web browsing (both Wi-Fi and 3G) and the video playback tests. Samsung Galaxy J1 managed to provide 781 minutes (13 hours and 1 minute) of Wi-Fi surfing. If you’re browsing via 3G connection, the smartphone will last 473 minutes (7 hours and 53 minutes), which is another good achievement. The video playback test result also met our high expectations – one battery charge was enough for 661 minutes (11 hours and 1 minute). You’ll be able to see more test results and information about the model in its upcoming review.
