AMD FirePro W7170M is a professional, high-range graphics chip, announced in October 2, 2015. Based on Tonga graphics processor, it consists 2048 Radeon cores which operate at 723MHz, while the memory’s frequency is 5000MHz.
This graphics card offers high performance in CAD/CAM applications and is nearly equivalent to a Radeon R9 M390X in games.
The chip also has a 256-bit bus and is only available with 4GB of GDDR5 memory. AMD FirePro W7170M supports DirectX 12, OpenCL 1.2, OpenGL 4.3, Vulkan, Mantle, Eyefinity, Enduro, App Acceleration and HD3D.
