AMD Radeon HD 8670M is a mid-range graphics chip, announced on November 16, 2012. It is part of the GCN (Graphics Core Next) generation, constructed through a 28nm process, and it has 384 Radeon cores.
All of them operate at 775MHz, but AMD’s Turbo clock functionality can increase the frequency up to 825MHz, based on the laptop’s cooling facilities.
HD 8670M has a 64bit bus and DDR3 memory, and it supports DirectX 11.1 and Shader 5.0.
