AMD Radeon Pro 555 is a mid-range mobile GPU based on AMD’s Polaris architecture built upon 14nm FinFET manufacturing process. The chip can be found in the configurations of 2017’s Apple MacBook Pro 15 and uses 768 shaders clocked at 855MHz base clock speed. The memory configuration uses the 128-bit bus, 2GB of GDDR5 VRAM clocked at 5080 MHz.
As like the rest of the Polaris-based chips from AMD, the Radeon Pro 555 supports the same features like DisplayPort 1.3 and 1.4, HDMI 2.0, AMD FreeSync and DirectX 12 renderer, although the latter is only supported on Windows 10. The GPU is rated a little below 35W TDP.
