AMD Radeon R7 M265, codenamed “Mars”, is a graphics chip, announced on January 7, 2014. It is part of the GCN (Graphics Core Next) generation, and its 384 Radeon cores, 24 texture and 8 raster cores all operate at 715MHz. Turbo mode can increase that to 980MHz. It comes with either a 64bit or 128bit bus.
Radeon R7 M260 is constructed through a 28nm process and supports technologies like DirectX 12, Shader 5.0 and OpenGL 4.3. In addition to the base 2GB DDR3 model, there is also a 4GB version.
