AMD’s Radeon R7 M460 is aimed for the entry-level notebooks and can be used for general multimedia and light gaming. The GPU is based on the Meso graphics core on the 28nm node and it uses maximum shaders of 384. Along with them, the GPU offers 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs. The GPU itself operates at a base frequency of 1100MHz and can be boosted to up to 1125MHz.
The memory setup consists of 2 or 4GB of DDR3 memory clocked at 1000 MHz and it’s connected to the graphics processor using a 64-bit interface. AMD Radeon R7 M460 supports PCI Express 3.0, DirectX 12, OpenGL 4.5 and OpenCL 2.0.
