[FPS Benchmarks] Cyberpunk 2077 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3070 (140W) – the RTX 3080 is 15% faster

Cyberpunk 2077 is still one of the most popular new games. Apart from its not-so-good debut, right now the title has been patched numerous times and the overall gameplay experience is acceptable. In addition, the game looks good and it supports ray-tracing as well.

Unfortunately, Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t the lightest title out there but in most cases, a modern mid-range GPU should do the job if you don’t touch the ray-tracing option. Actually, you can do that because you can use DLSS (if your GPU supports it) when the system struggles. For today’s comparison, we have prepared two fast GPUs – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3070 (140W).

Verdict

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) is 15% faster which looks like a normal difference between these two video cards. On the other hand, the performance of the GeForce RTX 3070 (140W) is just enough for most people and this GPU costs less.
