[FPS Benchmarks] Darksiders Genesis on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) and RTX 3070 (85W) – the bigger GPU is 19% faster

Darksiders Genesis is a fun game that has good graphics. The engine isn’t too demanding – Low settings are fine for iGPUs like AMD RX Vega 7 (Renoir C6, Ryzen 4000). If you want to max out the game most of the mid-range GPUs are okay if you don’t want over 100 FPS.

But let’s put the midrangers aside and focus on some higher-grade graphics solutions like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) and RTX 3070 (85W).

Let’s see what is the actual difference between these two when it comes to Darksiders Genesis.

Verdict

And the average difference between the two video cards is 19%. It sounds okay given the fact that the bigger one has a 45W bigger TGP. Still, on Ultra both are somehow close delivering at least 90 FPS which is enough for most gamers. If you need more FPS just drop down the settings a bit – this game looks decent even on Medium details.
