[FPS Benchmarks] For Honor on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) and RTX 3060 (65W) – the 95W GPU is 21% faster

For Honor is a successful title developed by Ubisoft Montreal. The game lets you play as a viking, samurai, and knight and you can experience brutal-looking battles. For Honor was released back in 2017 but it still looks fine especially on Extreme preset.

On the other hand, if you have a 144 Hz display or even better panel, probably you’ll want to see at least 144 FPS or maybe more. In this scenario, a good mid-range GPU is a must or perhaps some of the GeForce RTX 3070 iterations will handle this job better.

For this article, we’ll compare two Ampere mid-range GPUs – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) and RTX 3060 (65W).

Verdict

Actually, the results look just okay given the TGP difference between these two GPUs – on average, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) is 21% faster compared to the RTX 3060 (65W). The 95W GPU is definitely faster but on the other hand, the more efficient GeForce RTX 3060 (65W) isn’t a bad performer and it scores 110 FPS on Extreme quality which is a decent result.
