Hardware and unique software

swse_laptopScreen2HP’s new offering definitely isn’t the best choice if you’re looking for a gaming notebook. Nevertheless, the GeForce GT 940M GPU will provide you with high enough graphic performance for some light gaming while the low TDP (15 Wh) Intel Core i5-6200U won’t take a toll on the 4-cell battery while still bringing good performance to the table.

The software, the same as the design, which we’re going to talk about later, is unique. The notebook comes with pre-installed Windows 10, as well as a specially developed program just for this model. It allows you to switch between various Star Wars oriented themes, available only for the users of HP Pavilion 15 Star Wars. Aside from the themes, you’re also able to change the sounds of the system. Can you image opening your notebook to see you have a message and suddenly you hear a lightsaber? You can also choose an R2-D2 sound theme, as well as many others. In our upcoming review, we’re going to share more information about the unique features, which HP have provided this notebook with.

“The Force“ of HP Pavilion Star Wars

Due to the Jedi victory over the Sith, the developers decided to help bring “balance” to the “Force” by making the machine dark side themed. To do this, they’ve including a bright red LED keyboard backlight and other design elements, making the appearance of the notebook – unique. Even though it isn’t easy to spot all the “evil” hints at first glance, we can safely say that they’re a lot and each of them matters. We can’t wait to get our hands on the machine and examine it thoroughly, so we can share our full in-depth review of the model as soon as possible.
