[Specs and Info] Lenovo 13w Yoga – portable and well-equipped

Usually, budget convertibles are less desirable, as they skip out on performance, which is by far the most important part of the user experience. No one like to use a slow machine, or one that bogs down when having more than two apps opened at once.

This is where the Lenovo 13W Yoga comes in. The device has options for capable hardware with good efficiency, which will be a big factor in the battery life, resulting in a very fast notebook that can last for a while.

Today we are giving you a quick overview of the Lenovo 13w Yoga.

Lenovo 13w Yoga: Full Specs

Design

The 13w Yoga is supposed to be a more budget-friendly laptop, thus it relies on cheaper materials. The device is mostly made out of plastic, with the lid being aluminum. This gives it a bit better appearance, due to the anodized coating. The black color is deep and the Red Stylus pen gives it a bit of contrast and character, around all the black that there is. The base is plastic but has what looks to be Lenovo’s spill-resistant keyboard with good key travel and feedback. Surrounding it on the left and the right are two speaker grills. In terms of weight and height, the laptop weighs 1.45 kg and has a profile of 17.6 mm, which is decent for a 13.3-inch model.

Display

There is a single display, with an FHD+ IPS panel. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio, a wide 170° viewing angle, 300 nits brightness, an 800:1 contrast ratio, and a Gorilla Glass cover for protection against scratches.

Specifications and features

The specs of the device are pretty good, offering a total of three CPUs from AMD’s Ryzen 5000U Pro lineup. Even the lowest-powered Ryzen 3 5425U comes with 4 cores, 8 threads, and a boost speed of over 4.00GHz. From there we have the 6-core, 12-thread Ryzen 5 5625U and the 8-core, 16-thread Ryzen 7 5825U. These processors have proven themselves over the past year for being reliable performers while bringing a very good battery life. In terms of graphics, the laptop carries the integrated RX Vega 6, 7, and 8, depending on if you choose the Ryzen 3, 5, or 7.

The device brings decent I/O for its small stature, delivering two USB Type-C 3.2 (Gen. 1) ports, two USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 1) ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, an SD card reader, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
