Dell finally takes orders for the 30-inch OLED UP3017Q but the real deal now is its brother UP3017

You’ve probably heard about Dell’s gorgeous UP3017Q 30-inch OLED monitor since it was announced about a year ago (at CES 2016) but due to unclear reasons the company held the orders…till now.

UP3017Q is Dell’s first 4K OLED monitor and as you can expect from an OLED screen, it has the highest contrast ratio in the portfolio of the American manufacturer. The model covers 100% of the AdobeRGB colors, 100% sRGB, 100% Rec. 709, 97.5% DCI-P3 and 85.8% Rec. 2020 which means that it’s perfect for designers and other users who work with colors professionally. Nevertheless, it’s a perfect match for gamers as well (and for everyone with deep pockets) since it has 0.1 milliseconds response time and a color depth of 1.07 billion colors.

Here’s a little surprise – despite the initial pricing of $5000, Dell has decided to bring it much lower – UP3017Q can be ordered for $3500.

Yes, UP3017Q is an awesome model but let’s take a look at its brother, Dell UP3017 73GTT. Right now, it’s price is just $829.99 (36% discount). UP3017 also has a 30-inch diagonal while its resolution is 2560 x 1600 pixels – maybe the perfect one for gaming, given the performance of the last generation GPUs. It also has 99% AdobeRGB, sRGB, REC709 and DCI-P3 coverage and 1.07 billion colors. Check it our here:
