Meet the new ZenBook Pro 15 – ASUS’ dual screen notebook

The Taiwanese company ASUS has just announced its new ZenBook Pro 15 UX580 and it offers an intriguing new feature – a second FHD IPS display that comes in the place of the touchpad.

The so-called ScreenPad is covered by glass and is resistant to fingerprints thanks to its matte coating. This is a multifunctional feature that allows you to display controls for YouTube videos and Groove Music, as well as get access to programs such as PowerPoint. You could also use the ScreenPad as an extended desktop to watch videos for example.

On top of that, the new ZenBook Pro 15 is a quite powerful notebook powered by up to an Intel Core i9-8950HK processor in combination with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. As for memory capacity, you are presented with 16GB of DDR4 RAM. In addition, the device also stands out with its 15.6-inch that boasts up to a 4K resolution, 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, as well as a dE value of less than 2.

Furthermore, ZenBook Pro 15 is an ideal companion throughout the day due to its 18.9 mm thin profile and 1.88 kg weight. It also has your back in terms of connectivity providing you with two Thunderbolt 3 ports (each one supports two 4K displays), two USB 3.1 (Gen 2) Type-A ports, HDMI 1.4, as well as an SD card reader.

The new ZenBook Pro 15 is expected to hit the shelves in July with a starting price of $2,299.
