Hi, I just bought a Yoga 2 last week and I am having the same phantom touches problem. It’s making it unusable. Paid a lot money for it and I am quite disappointed. I am desperate to hear what explanation/compensation Lenovo is offering for knowingly keeping a defective product on the market. I noticed that this problem was highlighted on Lenovo community forum for a long time and nothing seems to have been done. I wonder if their is a case for suing them?
Hello, Hani!
Could you please first try this solution, provided by Lenovo, and share your result in the comments section below?
I tried re-calibrating as per the instructions, still getting ghost touches on the screen!
Im author of this video on YT. I returned this notebook. Never more Lenovo! Second hand thinkpad models with i5 3xxxM CPU is better purchase of new ideapad models. Replace hdd with SSD ,put 8 GB memory and new 9 cell battery and U have 3 time better notebook.
I had this issue with my Yoga 3 14 and was very frustrated. I installed the firmware update for the LG touchscreen 3 days ago and have not had any ghost touches since then. Here is a link to the update:

Thanks this seems to have worked for me too. Must say I’ve been very frustrated with this for over a year. I had disabled the touch screen and that worked but took out the reason for buying the laptop in the first place. Lenovo needs to step up and make this fix more widely known.
I found that reposition the screen angle helped but obviously does not solve the over all problem.
Hi all,
This driver SW update worked at my side!
Thanks very much because without that the laptop was for quite some unpredicable moments not usable at all. Now it does not happen anymore.
Greetings Matt Verhaegh, The Netherlands.
Addtition to my reaction above:
My calibration was NOT successful, but LG panel SW update was, as described in the Update 2 link above:

There’s a firmware update for the LG Panels.
Hi Matt,
Sorry, didn’t you have the issue (ghost touches) since updated the firmware anymore?
I’ve learned that if i don’t let my phone battery get too low or too full! Inbetween it works pefectly! My ghost clicking experience only comes when im going dead or im fully charge..
I have an Lenovo touch screen desk top computer , have done all the updates but still have the ghost taking over my screen , how do I fix it please
