[FPS Benchmarks] Gears 5 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3080 (85W) – the 130W GPU is 13% faster on Ultra Quality

Just like Gears Of War 4, Gears 5 uses Unreal Engine 4 and the game looks good. The decent optimization is another strong side of this title – even some low-end dGPUs like the GeForce MX250 or MX350 have no problem running this game at least on Low settings.

The Ultra quality is a bit heavier than the other three presets so let’s see how many frames per second the GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3080 (85W) can show.

Verdict

We are able to spot some noticeable differences between these two GPUs on Ultra quality and in this situation the 130W video card is 13% faster. On Low, Medium, and High, both GPUs are very close in terms of FPS which means that the 85W variant is a good GPU given the fact that it has a reduced TGP.
