[FPS Benchmarks] Ghost Recon Breakpoint on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (95W) and RTX 3060 (140W) – a close call

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint has a lot in common compared to its predecessor – Ghost Recon Wildlands. The gameplay isn’t that different than the old game and the same goes for the overall feel. You’re going to play in a third-person perspective, and you have a huge world for free-roaming. You’re set on an island with your team and your main goal is to investigate s series of disturbances.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint isn’t among the heaviest titles on the market but we can’t call it light at all, especially if you want to play on Ultra details. Still, it seems that a 4GB video card like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti (95W)  is enough for 60 FPS with maxed-out visual. For today’s article, we’ll compare the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (95W) and RTX 3060 (140W).

Verdict

That was a bit unexpected – both GPUs are showing pretty close results no matter the visual quality. The GeForce RTX 3060 (140W) looks like a great mid-range graphics card thanks to its hefty TGP that leads to higher frequencies under load. On the other hand, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (95W) performs well for a high-end video card with such a decreased power limit.
