All we know about the Core i7-1065 G7 is that it is built on the new 10nm manufacturing process, has four cores and eight threads that work at 1.50-3.90 GHz. Additionally, it uses 15W of power, as is the Core i5-8265U. In fact, the older Core i5 also has four cores and eight threads. Interestingly the clock speeds are very close to that of its competitor – 1.60-3.90 GHz but its 14nm architecture is going to take its toll on the overall result.

As far as the iGPU is concerned, the Core i5-8265U is equipped with the well known UHD 620, while Intel has been blowing the whistles about their new Iris graphics solution.
