Even though the Christmas holiday season is now behind us unfortunately, we spotted a new interesting offer – the super flexible VOYO VBOOK A1 is now on sale for only $299. Not only is this a hybrid device but it also comes with an 11.6-inch Full HD IPS display 4GB of RAM and SSD whose capacity is 128 GB. Appealing, indeed.

Display and Design

And so, we are dealing with an 11.6-inch notebook which weighs only 1.200 kg and is offered in two color variants – champagne and orange. In the middle of the lid there is a small circle with VOYO’s logo in it and this is perhaps the only design peculiarity. When you open the laptop, you will notice the screen with its bezels – yes they are really thick for some reason. However, we could disregard this aspect because there is an 11.6″ IPS screen with Full HD resolution. This should ensure good viewing angles and high image detail.

Additionally, this notebook is only 16 mm thick, which is great if you need a compact assistant on the go. We must also note that the port distribution on this one is quite reasonable and you will have no problems using an external mouse on the right hand side. The VBOOK A1 offers the bare minimum of connectivity options – 1 x USB 3.0 + 1 x USB2.0 slots, along with TF card reader, and a micro HDMI slot.

Performance and Software

Alright, it gets really interesting here. You are presented with a quad-core Intel Apollo Lake processor which is accompanied by an Intel Graphics 500 integrated GPU and 4GB of RAM. This combo is not appropriate for the latest gaming titles, of course, but it will do more than a good job for your everyday tasks. Another really noteworthy feature is the presence of an M.2 128GB SSD which will deliver really fast operation of more time consuming processes.

Yet another positive feature of the VBOOK A1 is the fact that it comes with a pre-installed Windows 10 operating system. That’s great because you wouldn’t have to pay any additional amounts of money – it’s been done for you.
