[Specs and Info] ASUS’ creator-centric ZenBook Duo 14 gets an update and brings Tiger Lake into the fold

ASUS was the brand with the most announcements at this year’s CES and while many of you will focus on the gaming devices from their ROG lineup, we have to show you what you might be missing out on.

The newest ZenBook Duo 14 is a true device for professionals, which features the newest chips from Intel’ Tiger Lake family and two displays that are both nice to look at, they will also increase your workflow.

Today we will give you a quick overview of the new ASUS ZenBook 14 Duo.

ASUS ZenBook 14 Duo: Full Specs

Design

The design here is on point, remaining relatively unchanged from last year’s device. It is sleek and stylish and what you would want from a device that is to be used in a business setting or perhaps by quite a creative individual.  The build quality is superb as well with metal used for the lid and the base of the keyboard, while the front displays are covered in glass. It is important for laptops to be sturdy as they are among the most abused devices in today’s world along with smartphones.

Display

The display of choice here is a 14-inch Full HD IPS panel, that along with the weight of 1.57 kg makes for a very portable device, meaning that you can bring your work with you everywhere. The display has great characteristics as well, covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut. The secondary touchscreen display, which ASUS calls the “ScreenPad Plus” has a size of 12.6-inches, and a Full HD resolution. Both displays will take your work to the next level, but only if you can truly take advantage of them.

Specifications and features

The specs sheet here is quite impressive, considering the form factor and dimensions. You get to choose between two Tiger Lake CPUs, the Core i7-1165G7 and the Core i5-1135G7. Both of them deliver good performance, but we believe the Core i7 is the CPU to go for. For the graphics, you get integrated solutions from Intel’s Iris graphics. There is also one discrete GPU available, the MX450.

Some features of the laptop include the aforementioned dual displays, a Harman-Kardon audio system, and an array microphone. Connectivity shouldn’t be an issue here, since the device has support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5. The I/O is also stacked with Two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, along with an HDMI port, and a microSD card slot.
