[Specs and Info] ASUS ZenBook Flip 15 (Q528) – A laptop for more than just business

ZenBook laptops have been instrumental to ASUS’s success in the high-end market, offering great designs and being stacked with features.

Today we have a new ZenBook Flip 15, which doesn’t have the latest hardware, offering 11th Gen Intel processors and an older discrete GPU, but with the same attention to detail and quality of displays. It also has that convertible form factor, which is on a good path, taking a larger percentage of the market every year.

Today we’re giving you a quick overview of the ASUS ZenBook Flip 15 (Q528).

ASUS ZenBook Flip 15 (Q528): Full Specs

Design

As any self-respecting ZenBook, the Flip 15  comes with a good design that is great for an office setting. The whole device has a Mineral Grey finish, which honestly looks like your average black color. The hinges are silver, however, giving some nice contrast. The edges on the lid and the base do have a diamond cut, with the same silver color. Overall, the device looks great, despite lacking the ZenBook circular pattern on the lid, with the Flip 15 having only an ASUS logo in the middle. In terms of weight and height, the laptop comes in at 1.90 kg and 19.9 mm, respectively.

Display

ASUS gives you a pretty rad display on the front, with a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display. The viewing angles are great, thanks to the IPS technology, while the panel covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. It’s also PANTONE validated for color accuracy and has a TUV certification, protecting you from Blue light. The display has a touch layer, which supports Stylus Pens with up to 4096 pressure levels.

Specifications and features

There is only one hardware combination, with the Intel Core i7-1165G7 and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q. This makes the device well equipped for playing some games on the side. However, with the display on the front, it’s totally okay to want to dive into some Creator work, which is where the hardware will truly shine. While the 4-core 8-thread Core i7 doesn’t bolster the best 3D Rendering scores, it can still handle its fair share of video editing and graphic design, especially thanks to the discrete GPU.

The I/O coverage offers one USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 1) port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI port, an SD card reader, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
