Design

Surface devices have always had a great premium build quality and a sleek and stylish design that is well referenced in the price tag. This is no exception, with the Surface Pro 7+ having a great metal unibody design with chamfered ed edges that makes it look sophisticated and interesting at the same time. The screen is covered in Gorilla Glass, which ups the protection and durability. The stand on the back is quite functional and makes the laptop able to stand on its own.

Display

The specs on the display here are quite impressive. Microsoft has decided to implement a 12.3-inch 3K (2736×1824) panel, which should give a pretty high PPI value, meaning crispy and detailed images. The aspect ratio is 3:2 and we are seeing more and more business devices implement displays with more space on the vertical axis. This makes it so that you have more room to put more apps and as we all know, productivity apps take a lot of space with all of their menus and windows.

Specifications

As far as specifications are concerned, the Surface Pro 7+ more than delivers. There are multiple Tiger Lake options ranging from the entry-level Core i3-1115G4 all the way to the Core i7-1165G7. The CPUs bring with them some of the best integrated graphics solutions right now in the market: The Intel Iris Xe Graphics, with the Xe Graphics G4 coming with the Core i3 CPU, and two Xe Graphics G7 versions coming with the Core i5 and Core i7 configurations.

There are also several accessories to choose from, some of which are a cover/case with a keyboard attachment, turning the tablet into a laptop, as well as the very popular Surface Pen, a tool that is ideal for creators and designers. The I/O is average with one USB Type-A and one Type-C port, a 3,5mm audio jack, and a microSD card slot. The device gets further support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.
