Acer is continuing their Predator gaming monitors with the XB1 series

xb1If you own a gaming PC, you most certainly need a suitable monitor, which will not bring you only pleasure, but also protect your eyes and doesn’t impact your health negatively. This is exactly what you’ll get with Acer’s new monitors, which, by the way, have gotten more attention lately, thanks to their top-tier Predator series.

The new line, part of the Predator series, is named XB1 and offers two very interesting models. The first one, XB271HU, is going to be a 27-inch display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, using IPS panel that provides flawless viewing angles. The second one, XB271HK, offers the same panel and size, but the resolution is bumped up to UHD/4K at 60Hz refresh rate, and it’s significantly lower compared to the 144Hz on the first model. Both monitors feature the G-Sync technology that prevents screen tearing, stuttering and reduces input lag, especially if you own a “high-end” machine. You can find more information about the G-Sync technology and how it works in our dedicated article. Other than that, XB271HU and XB281HK offer four USB 3.0 ports, making them perfect for gamers.

Both models are expected to hit the market by the end of November.
