ASUS VivoBook F510UA – still the best bargain for a budget laptop

Number 5 on our list is the ASUS VivoBook F510. One can find it with an Intel Core i5-8250U processor which is 50% faster than Core i7-7500U, and you can check this in our CPU performance ranking. As far as the graphics cards go, you have the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 which is a refresh of the HD Graphics 620 found as an integrated solution in many ULV Kaby Lake processors. Memory-wise, you get 8GB DDR4, 2400 MHz. And you can store all your stuff on a 1TB HDD (5400 rpm) and there is also a 2280 PCIe NVMe slot.

Additionally, you can enjoy multimedia content on the 15.6-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution (1920×1080 p) which promises high contrast and good viewing angles. Furthermore, there is a nice touchpad and fairly decent keyboard. Last but not least, the device is quite portable for a 15-incher as it is only 19.4 mm thick and weighs only 1.70 kg. Among its other notable features we see USB Type-C connectivity and a fingerprint reader. What’s more, the manufacturer has managed to fit a 42 Wh 3-cell battery, which is commendable, considering the dimensions of ASUS VivoBook F510UA.

But does it contain a restraining screw when you add the M2 storage?
