HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3 is a pretty expensive but impressive laptop for on-the-go professionals

It is pretty obvious that today we will be discussing an extremely flexible laptop by HP that is targeted at professionals who travel a lot and do not mind paying for the premium quality they get. This bad boy has a starting price of $2099.56.

And so, the EliteBook x360 1030 G3 has only one CPU option – Intel Core i7-8650U but this is quite decent for a business notebook as the chip sits on the 20th position in our Top Laptop CPU ranking. GPU-wise, there is only the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 chip so no graphically demanding tasks here. Smooth multitasking is ensured by up to 16GB of RAM.

When it comes to screen quality, you are presented with two options – a 13.3”, 4K UHD (3840 x 2160), IPS and 13.3”, Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS panels which is great considering the screen size – you get a really detailed image. Storage-wise, you can get up to 512GB of speedy SSD storage. Another merit of this bad boy is its super flexible hinge as the “x360” part of the name suggests. Additionally, this device weighs only 1.25 kg and has a profile thickness of 15.8 mm.

It’s always good to know what alternatives you have, so we have picked four similar notebooks for your consideration – the Lenovo ThinkPad X380 Yoga, Microsoft Surface Book 2 (13.5″), Dell XPS 13 9370, and Dell Latitude 13 7390 (2-in-1).
