Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga’s Full HD version offers really good image quality

Micr-Lenovo-ThinkPad-X1-YogaThe laptop’s panel seems intrinsic to the device’s class and we were quite pleased with the results from our tests. The ThinkPad X1 Yoga’s display is manufactured by AU Optronics with model number B140HAN01.8 and judging by the properties, it’s a high-end solution. Oh, and to make sure we are on the same page, we are referring to the Full HD variant. We would love to test the QHD panel as well because we suspect it will be even better. We are also particularly interested in testing out the future OLED model, which will feature one of the first Samsung OLED panels.

Anyway, the Full HD version offers 90% sRGB color gamut coverage, around 300 cd/m2 maximum luminance, 1330:1 native contrast ratio and almost perfect average color temperature – 6530K. This will guarantee vivid and punchy colors as well decent visibility outdoors when using the device in tablet mode.
