Fans of the mid-range Ideapad lineup by Lenovo may be pleasantly surprised that the Chinese multinational tech company has decided to add another member to its well-known series. The new Lenovo Ideapad 530S (14″) comes fresh out of the factory and we can’t wait to share with you its most essential features.

You can check its in-depth specs and more information here: http://laptopmedia.com/series/lenovo-ideapad-530s-14/

Let’s start with the hardware options as usual. You can configure your machine with the latest 8th gen Intel Core processors – there is a choice between an Intel Core i7-8550U and Intel Core i5-8250U. As for the graphics side of things, the Ideapad 530S can pack NVIDIA GeForce MX150 (2GB GDDR5), NVIDIA GeForce MX130 (2GB GDDR5) or Intel UHD Graphics 620 GPU under its hood. Additionally, the notebook relies on up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and up to a 512 GB of extra fast PCIe SSD.

Moving on, Lenovo Ideapad 530S comes in 14-inch IPS configurations with Full HD (1920 x 1080) or WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution options. What’s more, when we compare it to its predecessor – the Ideapad 520s, the notebook is slightly more portable with dimensions of 320 x 220 x 16.4 mm and 1.67 kg (3.7 lbs) weight. Probably one of the most intriguing merits of the device is the operating system it uses. The Ideapad 530S comes with Windows 10 S, however, Microsoft provides a free upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.

And finally, the port selection consists of 1x USB 3.0 Type-C port, 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port, 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port (Sleep and Charge), HDMI, SD card reader, combo audio jack, as well as Security Lock slot. Prices will start at $799.99.
