With the new more budget-oriented Core i5-1135G7 being out in the market now, we wanted to do some comparisons between it and other popular and powerful CPUs from both Intel and AMD to see where exactly does it stand in the food chain. CPU benchmark
Starting off with the CPU tests, in the first benchmark with Cinebench 15, which uses 3D Rendering, the Core i5-1135G7 was better by 15%. As for the Photoshop benchmark, there the Core i5 was again faster, this time by a whole second.

GPU benchmark
Moving over to the GPU tests, the Iris Xe Graphics G7 with 80 Execution Units wiped the floor with its opponent in the face of the Intel UHD Graphics. The Tiger Lake GPU was 128%, 77%, and 130% faster across 3DMark Fire Strike, Unigine Heaven 4.0, and Unigine Superposition respectively.

Conclusion
This comparison was nothing but a beatdown, as the Intel Core i5-1135G7 was undoubtedly the better processor, both when computational and graphic performance is considered. In the CPU tests, it was 15% better in 3D Rendering and was one second faster in Photoshop. As far as the iGPU scores are concerned, here the Iris Xe Graphics G7 was 112% better on average across all of our graphics tests.
My son says CS:GO is ancient and even a potato would get good frames with that. Lol. So why are you using that as a benchmark game?? Glad I asked him if those were good frame rates.
