LG K4 sports MediaTek’s MT6735 SoC with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.0 GHz, integrates the Mali-T720MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Also, the device has only 8GB of internal storage but you can always expand the available storage with a microSD memory card.

The phone has a 4.5-inch display which makes it comfortable to hold and use with one hand. Speaking of, the resolution of the screen is 480 x 854 pixels making the pixel density around 218 ppi. And due to the IPS technology of the panel, the colors will appear bright and vivid and the viewing angles will be good.

1940mAh battery and 5MP camera

The capacity of LG K4’s battery is 1940mAh and considering the not so power-hungry hardware of the device, we think it will provide you with decent battery life. According to the manufacturer, a single charge of the battery is enough for 510 hours in stand-by mode and up to 20 hours of phone calls with mobile data disabled.

Anyway, the device has a 5MP rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and a 2MP front-facing shooter. LG, however, has put some effort into making things a bit more interesting. You’ll find a couple of shooting modes and manual settings in the camera menu. Some of the available features are taking a photo with gestures or voice command as well as simulating a flash when taking selfies by lighting up the screen at the moment of the shot.

Comfortable and sleek design language + Android 5.1.1

LG K4 runs on Android 5.1.1 lollipop with LG’s UI on top and the phone’s menus and icons are revamped. The UX also offers a couple of extra features, which you can take advantage of.

The combination of compact size, interesting and pleasant design language makes LG K4 a perfect choice for a budget device. The model measures at 8.9 mm thickness and 120 grams weight.

Lastly, we’d like to note that the phone also supports LTE networks, as long as your region supports this type of connectivity.
