The Best Laptops for professional CS:GO gamers

Recently we presented to you a short article on the best laptops for photographers and web designers, and today we are doing something similar. This time, we are focusing on mobile machines suitable for professional CS:GO gamers. We would like to first list a couple of requirements which are a must when it comes to playing this game, and give several more specific examples of machines you can currently find on the market. And so, here is our list:

– Firstly, you need a good display with a high refresh rate – recommend a 144 Hz option.
– Secondly, you should choose a GPU which can provide an average of 150-160 fps at maximum settings in CS:GO. According to our tests, this should be a 1060 Max-Q or better.
– Additionally, an SSD is also a great idea as it provides speedy loading.
– Another noteworthy specification that your laptop should have is 802.11ac 2×2 WiFi for a stable connection, in case there is no LAN cable.
– Furthermore, the cooling should be good enough so that the surface temperatures will be preserved cool. In this way, the player will not be distracted and will keep focused on the game.
– Last but not of least importance, a LaptopMedia “Gaming” display profile will contribute to increased visibility even in darker areas of the image. This helps you to see better your opponents and in turn, react more quickly.

Not every gamer prefers 17-inch laptops, otherwise, there wouldn’t be 15-inch gaming laptops on the market. Screen size is more of a personal preference, that’s why we didn’t include it in the “musts”. At the end of the day, when you’re playing at a tournament, you’re connected to an external monitor; 15-inch is just fine for (FPS) gaming on the go, in our opinion. P.S. Thanks for your thoughts too, we’ve added links to the 17-inch versions of the 15”s above.
