AMD’s Capsaicin SIGGRAPH is going to introduce Radeon RX Vega

AMD’s next event will be another installment of the Capsaicin series called SIGGRAPH. It will take place at the end of this month on July the 30th. This time the highlight of the event will be the new Radeon RX Vega graphics card that should launch in the near future.

Previously, there were concerns about if the Radeon RX Vega will be showcased but now they are gone as AMD’s poster says “Radeon RX Vega”. There are little to none details about the upcoming graphics accelerator but we should expect high-end gaming performance similar to Radeon Pro Vega Frontier Edition. We can also expect improvements of the Vega architecture.

If the Radeon RX Vega happens to be as good as the company claims it to be it could shake-up the GPU market just like the Ryzen processors shook-up the CPU market.

Apart from the Radeon RX Vega, we could expect to get more information about the upcoming Ryzen Threadripper at SIGGRAPH. The new HEDT lineup with up to 16 cores on the new X399 platform is said to launch “Summer 2017”. Also, we can expect more information abut the EPYC series of server-grade CPUs and other Radeon GPUs.

Stay tuned for Capsaicin SIGGRAPH on July the 30th.
