Lenovo Vibe K5 Note + MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 after a stress test – reasonably hot

MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 is one of the mobile CPUs we recently tested for the first time in our review of Sony Xperia XA. We are now again presented with this chip but this time it is found in Lenovo Vibe K5 Note.

In this case, we are testing the extent to which a continuous 3D gaming simulation (with the help of the Epic Citadel app, as usual) leads to exterior overheating. We are seriously worried about this test because Xperia XA failed at it, to put it mildly. Fortunately, however, Vibe K5 Note is a different case or at least not so terrible a case, although the maximum temperatures in all three sections of the phone’s back exceeded the psychological limit of 40 degrees. Still, the continuous workload resulted in a hottest point of 43.9 degrees, which is not that worrying. You can expect more tests and facts about this smartphone’s capabilities in our upcoming full review.
