Qualcomm announces new entry-level and mid-range SoCs – Snapdragon 212 and 412

Following last year’s Snapdragon 210 and 410, Qualcomm now upgrades those CPUs with better versions and will most likely hit the market very soon. It’s a good thing to see that Qualcomm doesn’t shift its focus from the more budget-friendly SoCs that are also important for the industry. But what has been really changed since last year’s models?

Basically, the same as Snapdragon 410, but with boosted CPU performance. Both chips support 32 and 64-bit set of instructions, X5 LTE connection and are manufactured with 28 nm process.
