[FPS Benchmarks] Metro Exodus on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) and RTX 3060 (75W) – the 130W GPU shows its power
When it comes to heavy games on system resources, which title comes to mind first? Probably a lot of people will say Crysis but we think that Metro Exodus should be mentioned too. First of all, this is an interesting shooter that offers a decent single-player campaign full of action-packed scenes, battles with mutants, exploring, upgrading weapons, etc.
In addition, the whole picture is complemented by a good graphical representation. Of course, it comes with a “price” – the game is super-heavy if you want to see it in its full glory. On the other hand, the title supports ray-tracing as well, and most players will activate DLSS when ray-tracing is on because in this situation Metro Exodus is too heavy for most video cards on the market.
Let’s see how fast are the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) and RTX 3060 (75W) with the aid of Metro Exodus.

Verdict
Both GPUs perform almost the same on Low but after that, the 130W GPU is undoubtedly faster. On High, it offers 20% more FPS and on Extreme the gap reaches 23%. Not bad at all for a mid-ranger – 38 FPS on Extreme is a very good result. But hey, the 75W GPU isn’t slow by any means, its performance is decent for a GPU with such a modest TGP.
