Android 6.0 Marshmallow now holds a spot on last month’s distribution chart

The new version of Google’s mobile operating system, 6.0 Marshmallow, is now installed on a number of Android devices and according to the latest statistics report, it runs only on just 0.3% of all Android devices, which, of course, is an insignificant number. Android Lollipop also sees an increase of more than 2%, as 5.0 and 5.1 are now found on 25.6% of all devices.

The leader, however, is KitKat with 37.8% share, although it suffered a drop of 1.1% since last month. The runner up is again the somewhat outdated Jelly Bean version (4.1, 4.2 and 4.3) with 29%, which has also undergone a slight decrease from 30.2%. We’re eager to see next month’s report and find out how the “Marshmallowization” is advancing in the charts.
