Specs sheet of the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060

NVIDIA-GTX-1060-2Earlier today we shared with you that GeForce GTX 1060 is slightly faster than AMD Radeon RX 480. Apart from the results from the two benchmarks Firestrike and Firestrike Ultra, we noticed something else on the screenshots – GPU-Z. This is an app that provides detailed information about the available GPU. Even though NVIDIA hasn’t officially confirmed the specs of the third Pascal model, it is very likely that what we’ve listed below is true about GeForce GTX 1060.

We are really impressed by the number of texture and raster cores listed in GPU-Z. Typically, a mid-range model has 32 ROPs (raster cores). However, we noticed 48 in that screenshot which is great news to those of you who are not planning to buy a GeForce GTX 1070 or GTX 1080, because it is too hard on your pocket. Furthermore, its memory is increased to 6 GB which are more than enough for current gaming titles. Its frequency is 2000 MHz, and the bus is 192-bit, which means that we are dealing with memory bandwidth of 192 GB/s. You can find the rest of the specs below. We expect that NVIDIA will soon officially announce the specs of the long-awaited model.
